Two rooms, two jobs. The exam room runs the real final-exam format and scores you out of 10. The practice room is where mistakes are free: warm up your ear, replay sentences, look words up, and collect what you keep missing.

The clock keeps running whether or not you stay. If you leave the app, it records that you left and for how long, and the session is marked broken — nothing is hidden and nothing is blocked. To make leaving genuinely difficult, lock the device itself: iPhone — Settings → Accessibility → Guided Access, then triple-click the side button. Android — Settings → Security → Screen pinning, then pin this tab.
Tip: tap 📖 Dictionary in the bottom-right corner to look up a word anywhere — or tap any dotted English word in a sentence.

🎧 Voices come from your device, so quality varies. For the most natural sound: Android — install Google Text-to-speech and its English + Vietnamese voice data. iPhone — Settings → Accessibility → Spoken Content → Voices → download an Enhanced or Premium English voice and a Vietnamese one. Windows — Edge has Microsoft Natural voices built in. The app picks the best one it can find and ranks the rest below it.

0%
The score is 60% from the proper names and numbers you caught and 40% from how much of the model answer you covered. Figures count in any form — digits, words, or Vietnamese units like tỷ and nghìn — and common abbreviations such as SMEs or FDI count as their full phrase. It matches keywords, so treat it as a guide: a good interpretation can still choose different words.

Warm-up
2–3 minutes each
🎧 Audio for every drill
🔥 The ten-minute routine before you interpret. Numbers first (2 min), then names (2 min), then gap-fill (2 min) to lock the sentence frames. Next comes memory span (2 min), which is the skill that actually breaks down under exam pressure, and sight translation (2 min) for Part 1. The symbols card at the bottom is worth reading once — you are allowed to take notes on exam day, and symbols are faster than words.
STEP 1
Number dictation
Streak: 0 ✔
Numbers are where marks disappear fastest — and the classic traps are -teen vs -ty (thirteen/thirty, fifteen/fifty), the odd thir-/fif- stems, and the nghìn / triệu / tỷ scale. This bank drills all of them. Type any correct form: 940000, 940,000, 940 nghìn, 940k or the words all count.
STEP 1B
Just 3 & 5
Streak: 0 ✔
A tighter drill on the two numbers that cause the most trouble: 3 and 5 — and it leads with the four words that catch everyone out: thirteen / thirty / fifteen / fifty. at bare, hundred, thousand, million and tỷ scale — then it opens up to every shape — three, thirteen, thirty, thirty-three, three hundred, three thousand, 3 tỷ, 35%, 3.5 — and the same for five. Each is read in a different accent (US · UK · AU) where your device has the voice, so the ear learns the sound, not one speaker.
STEP 2
Proper-name catch
Streak: 0 ✔
Hear a proper name from your exam slide and pick it out. Practise until you recognise it instantly.
STEP 3
Gap-fill
Perfect sentences: 0 ✔
Hear a sentence from the exam bank and fill in the missing words — always a proper name or a number. Figures may be written as digits or words, whichever you would actually say. Replay as often as you need.
STEP 4
Memory span
Streak: 0 ✔
The real bottleneck in consecutive interpreting is not vocabulary, it is holding the sentence. You hear it once, then the screen goes blank for a few seconds before you may write. Reproduce as much as you can — in English or Vietnamese.
Hold it… 5
STEP 5
Sight translation · VI → EN
Streak: 0 ✔
Part 1 of the exam is Vietnamese into English under time pressure. Here the sentence is on screen, so nothing is hidden from you except the clock: say it aloud in English, type it, and beat the timer.

Press “Show a sentence” to start the clock.
STEP 6
Note-taking symbols
Streak: 0 ✔
You may take notes during the exam, and a symbol is written in a fraction of the time a word takes. The table below covers every kind of variable these sentences throw at you — trends, logic, quantities, dates, institutions, the speaker's stance, and your own topics.
Do not learn all of them. Interpreters work with roughly 25 symbols they never hesitate over; a symbol you have to think about costs more time than the word it replaced. Pick one category at a time, drill it to a streak of 8, then move on — and keep whichever ones you invent yourself.

Error log
sorted by how often you miss it
🧾 Every time you score an answer, anything you missed — a proper name, a number, a phrase — lands here. The more often you miss it, the higher it climbs, so the top of this list is your revision list. Add your name in the exam room to sync it between phone and laptop.
Nothing logged yet. Score an exam answer and your misses will appear here.

Key terms & proper names
say them right, earn the marks
⚠️ One note on your slide: the entry “Thropic” is almost certainly Anthropic, the AI company behind Claude. Proper names (Proton, Lumo, Anthropic, Claude, Viettel…) normally stay as they are in Vietnamese — you only translate the description around them.

🔢 Number tip: nearly every exam sentence carries one or two figures — a year, a percentage, a quantity. Note them as symbols (940K, 97%, 2030, 10M) rather than words, and listen hard to the unit: million is not billion.
